Wildwood | Family Session
If you’ve been following me for awhile you know this is my best friend and her family. She and I have been friends since 1990. We have been through everything together, and there is still so much more to experience and share! Here’s a peek at her Wildwood Native Park family session.
It makes my head spin when I think about how fast the past 31 years have gone by. We have helped each other through college, relationships, and some of life’s greatest challenges. We have celebrated highs and cried during lows. We were in each other’s weddings. We were there for each other when the babies came, and so much more! Now, here we are, all these years later still going strong, blessed to have the other to do all the life with.
In a few short months her oldest will be leaving the nest to begin studying medicine. Our youngest boys, the same age, will be driving. Time just keeps marching on….but I wouldn’t want anyone else going through it all with me. This woman is my rock and I could not have made it this far without her.
Wildwood Native Park is one of my go-to locations for sessions. There are a variety backdrops to use for portraits. I love to use the wooden bride for leading lines, texture, and a posing prop. The tall grasses, whether green in the spring or golden in the fall, also give texture to an image but also foreground. Other things I love about this location are the tall trees, winding paths, and when you are able to get down to it, the river. There is one spot that is always magical when the light hits it just right. Scroll on to see why this is one of my favorite spots for photos.
