Pines Resort Wedding – Bass Lake, CA

Todd and I arrived at Padei and Chee’s Pines Resort wedding in Bass Lake, CA to the most amazing March weather! It was absolutely perfect. When we got to Padei’s room, she was so excited to see us, and we were her! It had been almost a year since we had seen them!

Padei and Chee’s enagement session was in July 2020 in Carmel, CA. They were supposed to be married in November of 2020 but, due to COVID-19, their wedding had to be postponed. It was heartbreaking for everyone involved but it just made this day that much sweeter.

It’s hard to describe just how much we loved this day. It was authentic and genuine and full of the best kind of emotion! Chee was in tears a large majority of the day and it melted everyone’s heart. He was in tears because of what it meant for his bride to be walking down the aisle to him. She was coming to commit her life to him… for better or for worse… whatever happens… her love isn’t going to change. After being married to Todd almost 5 years and walking through some pretty hard seasons of life before we met, it makes me realize just how powerful those vows are.

Every couple will have valleys in their marriage where they have to cling to one another and remember the promises that they made. It’s not always perfect and pretty, but it is beautiful. Chee watched Padei walk down the aisle knowing that he would never face life alone without his companion and best friend. It makes sense why the tears flowed freely!

Chee and Padei were married at the Pines Resort in Bass Lake, CA and it was an amazing day! Padie was all about capturing amazing portraits and I was all for that! I’m in love with the portraits from we captured!

Not only did I love the sweet tears and the amazing portraits, I also loved how Padei and Chee were surrounded by so much love and support from their family and friends. I was a mess during the toasts! Sisters and parents came to the mic to tell how Padei and Chee’s love have changed their lives and each other’s. It was the most emotional part of the day.
