Fresno Mural District Senior Session | Downtown Fresno, CA
The Fresno Mural District senior sessions in downtown Fresno are one of my favorites! Mitchell’s interest in art inspired this artsy session. This was my third time using the Fresno mural District for a senior session and it never gets old. I enjoy seeing all the talented artist’s work displayed throughout the downtown area and using them as backdrop for my clients. I just love they way they pop off of the artwork.
This garage attached to a former art studio is one of my favorite locations. I love the colors and dimension.
This creature is tucked away in an alley just around the corner from the garage door. It’s weird but cute at the same time.
This skull painting is in the same alley as the bug. You can find a lot of variety tucked in between the buildings.
This mural is on a large brick wall that makes up the side of one of the buildings downtown. I love this mural because of the colors and whimsy. There is a lot going on on this wall. It’s an interesting piece to study.
This is the same wall as the one above, just a different section of it.
I absolutely love this garage door! It is so life-like and bold. What I didn’t notice the first time I photographed this spot is the shadow of a man in the corner, right where Mitchell is standing. It’s a really cool aspect of this artwork, both man and fish studying each other.
Tucked in another alley you find the Beatles! Who doesn’t want to be a 5th Beatle?
Facing the Beatles wall is this flower painted on another garage door and good ol’ Frank. He takes up the entire corner of this 4 story building.
For some reason I always forget where this wall is, and it is truly my favorite wall for portraits, mainly because of the man with the camera. It’s a fun perspective. This wall is painted with muted colors giving it an aged feel. It is a great representation of historical Fresno.
